How to use these cards:
Print the cards on heavy stock paper (I use 110# card stock) and cut them out. You could also laminate the cards if you prefer.
Use the included sheet of Age-Appropriate Children's Chores to determine which chores your children can be doing now. The included blank cards can be used to fill in with your own personalized chores.
You can use these cards in one of two ways:
- Determine with your child which chores he or she will begin completing and place the cards in a prominent place as a reminder, such as a refrigerator or cork board. (If placing on the refrigerator, you can use magnetic tape to adhere the cards.)
or
- Add the cards to a bowl and let your child pick out at random a chore or two to do each day. This can be a great way to introduce chores to kids.
